CONSTRUCTIONS WE BUILD GARMENTS IN
These are the knits we work in. We do not sell them by the metre and we hold no stock. They are here so you can tell us what your garment should be made from, or ask us to develop something that is not on this page.
Some of these we knit ourselves on our own circular machines. Some we source from mills we have worked with for years. Each one below says which, because it changes your lead time and how far we can move the specification.
Double knit, stable, minimal edge curl. Our most used construction for sleepwear and layette, and the base for most printed programmes.

Organic Pima Interlock:
85% pima cotton, 15% alpaca. Lightweight warmth without the bulk of a heavier knit, for cooler-season programmes.

PIMA AND ALPACA BLEND
ORGANIC PIMA POINTELLE
Open needle-out patterning knitted on the machine. We develop custom pointelle designs, including a client logo knitted into the ground, and that design stays exclusive to you permanently.

PIMA JACQUARD
Multi-colour patterning knitted into the fabric on the machine, not printed onto it. Gives depth and a hand that a print cannot reproduce, and it does not crack or fade with wash.

PIMA RIB WITH SPANDEX
Recovery and shape retention where a garment needs it, at cuffs, collars and waistbands, or as a full garment.
